Here are some pictures of the cake I created for my sister's wedding in June of 2013. She was a wonderfully laid back bride and allowed me to have a lot of creative liberty with this cake. The sugar origami butterflies transform into paper ones at the top of the cake. The use of the basketball hoop was a great way of using the space, suggested by my sister. My favorite thing about this cake was that I had no idea how it would actually work until the morning of the wedding when I set things up. It was very much driven by intuition and pure love. Enjoy!
